Matt and his mom got me Ōkami for Christmas and I've been playing it on and off. I think my favorite part is just the sumi-e style of the game and the Celestrial Brush feature. So I drew a Kami version of Amaterasu.

I can't explain the sword other than I -was- going to make it an Angie sword cause she said she'd be one but I couldn't get the lil face to look right on the sword's initial design so I just went with a sort of oar type thing. And because I drew Kami as Ammy, I drew Matt's character Trent as Issun. It seemed fitting. :>

The fun part of this pic was trying to emulate the sumi-e style of painting digitally. oC 1 did a decent enough job but I think I need further practice. Maybe eventually in real media.

I got that game at Christmas too. ^^ It's wonderfully addicting, ne? I think my favorite part is still just running around like a moron, sprouting flowers and snatching baby rabbits. xD

I love this game to death and the screen shots never did it real justice. It's a shame that Clover got reabsorbed into Capcom after God Hand.

Nice work on the character design. I'd dare you to draw the Golden Fury if I didn't think you'd do it. :XD:
